Armed Forces Museum and Archives of the Carolinas
Bryan and Jonathan are involved in fundraising for the upcoming construction of the Armed Forces Museum and Archives of the Carolinas (AFMAC). By donating a portion of the sales of their book at AFMAC fundraising events, they are helping to preserve the legacy of the veterans who have served our great country, past, present and future.
AFMAC will be a state of the art interpretive center located in Mint Hill, NC (Jonathan Joye's hometown) dedicated to honoring, teaching and preserving the history of those that have served and their families that supported them. Historical artifacts, interactive displays and thematic environments will bring history alive!
The motto and vision of the Armed Forces Museum & Archives of the Carolinas is honor, preservation and freedom. This world-class museum will be unique by the fact that it will honor all five branches of the United States military: the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Air Force.
When completed, visitors will encounter an educational showcase of 250 years of military history combined with the home front support and sacrifices which have made our nation great.
The Mint Hill, North Carolina location of the museum is a testament to the significant role the Carolinas have played in securing our country’s freedom and independence. It is our obligation to keep this history alive for present and future generations.
